I'm sorry I have been away without words. I have totally missed you and blogging of course.

It's "bottle it up" once again. Yeah I know it's not Saturday, this is one of ways to make up for the past days.

Have you felt good seeing a well structured item, a bag, a house etc. what does it do to you? Well, for me it leaves me imagining what the content of that bag or the house is. And I am also excited to get into that house or buy the bag for keeps.

Now that's the same feeeling I get when I see a well structured perfume bottle, I want stop until I try the fragrance and trust me it's not a waste of time or money. 

Now let's see some of these bottles.

So, exciting isn't it?

Lets walk into that store and make that purchase, to see if the scent matches up to the design of the bottle. #wink#

Hey everyone! Welcome to Bottle it up Saturday!

Every Saturday, I would be showing us a few "state of the art" perfume bottles. 

I'm Pretty sure that most people care more about the liquid in the bottle, than the design of bottle. What we do not know is, the design of the bottle is also as important as the fragrance itself. The fragrance should smell as good as the looks of the bottle.

The design of the bottle should catch your eye, it should not only encourage you to buy the fragrance but also make you feel like leaving it in on your shelf, just to stare at it everyday.

I'm very sure the pictures below would change your perception on the designs of perfume bottles, causing you to rethink  before making a purchase.

FLORAL SCENTS 4 VALS DAY

Love day is here again. For me everyday is an opportunity to show love to one another. However, let's celebrate love today particularly. 

I have come up with two floral and powerful feminine scents, for my ladies *whoop whoop* (y do we ladies get d most wonderful sturvs?).

The first is My Burberry (by Burberry).

                          

Released in September 2014, in a cute lil bottle, is a very floral (rosy) fragrance. Long lasting of course. This scent would always remind you to be in Love with yourself and others. Make others get your attention with this scent.

Ladies! If he doesn't get this for you, please and please go get it yourself.

The second is Mordern Muse (by Estée Lauder).

                       

Let your woman be your source of inspiration by surprising her with "Muse" by Estée Lauder. It represents a woman who is sure of herself, self confident and independent. Trust me your chic wouldn't try to jilt you on this one but would cherish you for making her smell like a WOMAN.

Quick one! like I mentioned earlier, ladies if he doesn't get any of these for you, do yourself the pleasure of getting them. And be proud to say you did.

MY FAVORITE MALE SCENTS OF PACO RABANNE

Forgive my repeating this same post, the last one had no image. That's the reason for the repetition.

The reason I call these 3 scents my fav are bcos dey are just distinct fragrances produced by Paco Rabanne. I like all others though but these 3, I would highly recommend for my male folks. 

Invictus

 Paco Rabanne Invictus  "invincible" for men, Scent of victory as it's fondly called because of its trophy shape, represents  a fresh and athletic scent when compared  to the other perfumes of the Paco Rabanne house. It's for that energetic, powerful and dynamic young man (for those in college, the university and men not older than 30).

The fragrance was created by Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion. This scent delivers it's worth when compared to the price. And one I usually recommend for male clients and friends. It's last long, at least for a decent number of hours during the day.

Black XS 

Black XS is another masculine scent by Paco Rabanne with soft,warm woodsy and sweet citrus notes. The features of this scent are fresh lemon notes, Kalamanzi fruit, tagetes, sage, praline, cardamom, cinnamon, Tou balsam, rosewood, black amber, patchouli and ebony.

It's a real head turner for me. Highly recommend this for the masculine folks.

One Million.

Now this is one Looonnggg lastingggggg scent I must say. A blend of divine , sensual and fresh notes with the shine of gold for which creator Paco Rabanne says the following: "In all civilizations and religions gold has always managed to seduce people". Like the gold bottle, it signifies wealth, sophistication, power and durability.

It features notes of sparkling grapefruit, red orange, mint, rose, blond leather, blond wood, patchouli and amber, sexy blood orange, grapefruit, cinnamon spices and white wood.

All three scents may have been released many years from now but as the saying goes "old wine taste better than new wine", these scents have always rocked.

5 BASIC STEPS ON HOW TO WEAR

Perfume may be just the thing to put a finishing touch to your outfit. And it requires the perfect balance. Knowing how to apply a perfume correctly is also as important as picking the right fragrance. While you are feeling happy about soaking yourself in that signature scent you love, always remember to apply the required amount. So as not to give people even 100 meters away from you a headache or running stomach.

Steps

1. Find your perfect scent. Take your time to study the base notes of that perfume you so love. To make sure you do not react to anything. Don't just wear something because it's a designer perfume. Make sure you absolutely love the perfume's top and bottom notes. To find out if you like the bottom notes, spray a little of the perfume on the back of your wrist and wait a few minutes and smell the perfume again. Going to a perfume shop to ask for help, sure wouldn't be a bad idea.

2.  As often as you can (especially in the mornings) Take a bath before wearing a perfume.Your skin absorbs more after it's wet.

3. Put unscented lotion (or lotion as the same scent as your perfume) on your pulse points. Pulse points include the inside of your wrist, the crook of your elbows, the back of your neck, behind your knees, and the inside of your ankles. Wait a minute for the lotion to dry.

4. Spray the perfume on the pulse points. Spray one spray for each pulse point. Make this subtle please.

5. Scents are very important in our everyday lives. Remember to wear your scent and not let the scent wear you. Believe it or not, your perfume can make an  impression about you.

 You don't want to represent is a man or a lady who can't hold his or her perfume.

In the words of Coco Chanel "a woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future"

"A woman should wear perfume wherever she wants to be kissed" (the same applies to men too).

 TOP 3 SCENTS FOR WOMEN IN 2014.

As memories of 2014 gradually roll away, it’s necessary to keep in mind "some" out of the numerous list fragrances that proved themselves in the past year. It is definitely not enough to show up at a party or event looking all dressed up and smashing but with bit a bad scent or none at all, lingering in the air after us. Here a three top scents that made my 2014.

1.  RISE BEYONCE FOR WOMEN

The first phrase that comes to my head at the sight of this perfume bottle is “I woke up like this . . . I’m Flawless”.

This fragrance says it all. Its empowering scent can be found in the name.  This sure is one fragrance that would be not be forgotten in a hurry. I believe this is the best perfume by Beyonce yet. Not a cheap shot, its sexy, sensual, sweet and cozy. RISE up to the occasion of being flawless with this scent.

2. 3 L'IMPERATRICE BY DOLCE & GABBANA

Now, this is one head turner.  I smelt it on a friend once and she lingered in my memory all day long. I had to find this perfume somehow. This is one sophisticated scent for the classy chic and a must have in your collection.

3. ROSABOTANICA BALENCIAGA FOR WOMEN

Rosabotanica Balenciaga is my number 3. A perfect example of "big things come in small packages".I love the bottle as much as I love the scent.  People would definitely go crazy after smelling this on anyone (I mean crazy in a sexy way though). A scent that is florally-sweet is a must have for me.

So, Ladies lets make one of these fragrances as part of your signature scents in 2015. Have a lovely year ahead. #wink#.
